Sylvie Cloutier
Sylvie Cloutier is an artist from St-Hyacinthe in Quebec. She has studied art extensively. She holds Batchelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University, a Certificate in Pedagogy - Teaching of Visual Arts at the Secondary Level (High School) from the Université de Montréal among other educational accomplishments. Her works are unique and intriguing and can propel the viewer into another incredible world and make them discover many abstract and geometrical shapes in her artwork.
Her work has been shown extensively across the province of Quebec. She is represented by several galleries including La Galerie Perkins, in Danville, Quebec, Dervilia Art and Design Gallery in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Singulart in Paris, France and U Gallery in Shangaï, China.
Sylvie’s choices of mediums include acrylics and collage on canvas, wood, or paper. In addition to pursuing her own artistic career, she is also an art teacher and has continued her education by researching geometrical shape in relation to space. Kandinsky, Riopelle, and Paul Klee are among the great influences in Sylvie’s development as an accomplished artist.
