A wood and mixed-media sculptor, I live in Cap-Santé, near the city of Québec. I am drawn to wood for its strength and resistance, but also for the challenge it presents — the act of bringing to light what lies hidden within this stubborn material.

I often combine wood with other materials to emphasize my perspective on what each of us carries inside — consciously or unconsciously. Writing, engraving, and sculpting on wood, then refining with various media, is for me an act guided by the power of empathy.

I allow myself to be surprised by the results that emerge from my inner refusal to set limits, exploring the interplay of textures and forms to create works that are both authentic and alive.
