Manon Couture "BaDang"

A self-taught artist, I work with metal using the flux-cored welding method. I shape the metal cold and mainly use recycled materials, though not exclusively. What I love most is giving this strong, resistant material an appearance of lightness and fluidity. Each piece I create is unique, reflecting my fascination with transforming metal into something expressive and alive.

Training

In August 2022, eager to learn welding, I posted a message on social media. The owner of a boat repair workshop offered to teach me the basics over four afternoons. Together, we repaired a wheelbarrow and created a coffee table — my first metal works and the starting point of my artistic journey.
