Ginette Lefebvre "GauLe"

Born in Montreal, Ginette has lived for many years in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. From childhood, she felt a calling to paint, though visual art was absent from her surroundings. Over time, that calling faded but remained deeply rooted within her.

In 2013, her passion was rekindled through art symposiums. She began taking courses and workshops, exploring acrylics — a medium that allowed her to experiment with various techniques, including mixed media. Her dedication to her craft fuels her creativity and artistic growth.

By 2016, she had developed her artistic signature: faceless figures that express universal human emotions. Her works, often small in format, captivate viewers with their emotional depth. Texture plays a key role in her compositions, as do her colors — vibrant, harmonious, and softly balanced.

Ginette’s goal is to create original, visually striking works that celebrate freedom of expression. Her paintings, filled with strength, originality, and mystery, reflect her inner feelings.

Her work has been showcased at art symposiums and in galleries across Canada, winning the hearts of an ever-growing audience.

Meaning of “GauLe”:
Her artist name GauLe combines the beginnings of her two family names: Gaudreau and Lefebvre.
