La Galerie Perkins opened its doors on June 12th, 2020. Its founder Danny Perkins created the gallery to have a place where he could display his work as a sculptor and at the same time give other artists a chance to show their work . The gallery started with 10 artists ( including Danny himself ) and is now up to 30 artists. The gallery now has artists from all over and we invite you to come and take a look and be part of Danny’s adventure.
LOCATION

The historic St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church is located in Upper Melbourne, Quebec. This will be the site of La Galerie Perkins as of April 2024 and this year's venue for the Salon Empreinte D'Art.
The church was constructed in 1841 and has had some additions and upgrades over the years. It is not only rich in history because of its age but also because it was featured on the back of the Canadian $2 bill from 1954 to 1975. Renowned Canadian painter, Frederick S. Coburn suggested this site to the Canadian government photographer.
Coburn also attended St. Andrew’s Church in his youth making the space even more significant in its transformation into an art gallery.
